Inner Gloves
« on: November 06, 2005, 08:16:59 PM »
Fed up spending good money for bad gloves, I bought a pair of inner gloves from "DYNAMIC THERMALS"

Cost a measly £5.

Initially they felt a bit stiff and cumbersome, after about 30 miles I didnt notice any stiffness or clumsyness at all.

Warmth, very good, normally my hands are blue after a 20 mile trip, 60 miles later and I still have feeling and my hands are warm!

In my opinion this is a must buy, how many times have you shelled out £40+ for winter gloves only to have wet/numb fingers?

 :D

yep under summer gloves.

one of the things I seen today was the lack of crash protection on winter gloves, this gives you both protection and warmth.

Great buy IMO

yep tried them in the wet... not pissing down, the rain had seeped through my summer gloves a little, enough to be damp, my hands were dry, dont think it would stop a real downpour but havent been out in them in that weather... will give you a proper reply in a day or 2...

My only real concern is summer gloves aren't really supposed to get wet and using them through the winter will wreck them!

at which point spending £40 on a pair of waterproof winter gloves compared to a pair of £80, 90 or £100 of new summer gloves doesn't sound too bad

I will however await with baited breath for your first real wet day review :D

Didn't have to wait too long  ;)

Commute home, time 1Hr..... conditions NASTY  :yikes Gale force winds, up over a mountain, absolutely chucking it down.

Hands slightly cold but not too bad (warmer than walking down the road with you hands in your pockets) and suprisingly dry, bone dry  :beers

Not sure about wrecking gloves in the winter weather, I've been riding for 15 years or so, always ride in winter and dry my gloves after each run.... usually get 2 years outta them, could push it for more but it's always nice to change kit now and then
