General Chat about the 2008 TT Tribute weekend
« on: June 15, 2008, 01:02:10 PM »
Thanks to all of those who took the time to come and join us all in bristol.

It was a really good weekend.

The weekend started for me Having to rescue Shoey and Reina after shoeys bike sprung a leak on the waydown :(

Luckily this was fixed with some good old radweld ;D

The Rideout its self was awesome with some great roads. We even managed to loose less people than last year :jump Sheep Was always inevitable :LOL

Katch and Loraine did a great job of organising the raffle and the accommodation :D And Alec managed to win the bidding war for the toslandlid in the impromptu auction :D

I was gutted about not being able to camp. altough the lack of hangover today did help compensate that someway.  :LOL

Kerm was telling me in the pub "he had a big one" but It was only when I saw his tent/portable stately home that I realside it was bigger than my house :yikes

The weather was great for all the weekend. However I'm touch sunburt.

As with all events events it was nice to see the regulars as well as loads of new faces ;D :D

The grass on the other side may be greener but you still have to mow it.

Hi ya
just got home, and gotta say it was a fantastic weekend.
It was mine and Lee (leek74) first ride out and we totally loved it.
gotta say a special thankyou to Oblivion and Diane for rescueing me more than once from getting lost and when I almost dropped my bike  :-[
Everyone was welcoming and really friendly (just as I imagined)
For newbies who may read this next year, you gotta go!! you may not keep up with some of the riders but the group really don't mind and will make sure you don't get lost !!

Top weekend totally loved it
thanx guys

Top banana weekend, i didn't expect anything less. i feel totally knackered due to a lack of sleep,  the alcohol and the drive home today.
was great to see the SBF regulars again and some new faces, i hope none of the new members felt left out,
it didn't seem that way  :D
a great rideout route was chosen (cheers damo) and was real fun following a couple of locals
(cheers again damo)  ;)
i have some pics, also some random vids taken in random places  :rofl
they will follow.

i must be getting around a bit as there were only a few members there that i haven't met before.
