To all northwest members;
For those that can spare a hour or two to join a funeral cortarge.It is Monday 13th October at 12pm
I work with a bloke John, 60yr old ex club racer, TT sidecar racer, and is bike mad, the same as his only child and best mate to his 2nd wife, 20 yr old Johnathan, between them thay own at least 5 bikes and Johns always bringing parts in for repair or Johnathan is ripping bits off his dads Firestorm, Hornet or Divvy to modify his GPZ.. sends his dad mental finding the cans are missing off the storm to find it stitched onto the Kwak..
Last monday evening johnathan was on his way home at 10pm on his GPZ600, 1/4 mile from home a people carrier pulled out on him from a side road containing 2 teenage lads,
Johnathan impacted into the side and was killed instantly, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
John when looking for johnathan, the end of the road blocked off by the police, blue flashing lights and the bike on the floor................ John was not allowed to go over by the police.. well you can not imagine that situation, but police did confirm to him it was johnathan and had been killed

Both john and his wife has been approched, on the subject of the funeral, I have suggested a bike cortarge which john thought it was a fitting tribute, even johns wife who does not like bikes stated "Johnathan would think it was cool"
I request any members that can spare a hour or two to assist me to put a decent attendance in, I have got about 10 bikes from work already but would like to put at least 20 in the procession to St Helens cremitoriam from Kirkby in Liverpool to mark the respect to the death of a young biker.
