Put it this way...

I have removed and stripped choccys R6 carbs.. there right next to me next to the computer,  the fact you can hardly hold the throttle open due to the return springs..

guess how many return springs there are closing the throttle butterfly?

1?
2?

there is 7 in total so to have every one of them break... well lets just say, its highly improbable ;)

Where are the 7 return springs Paul, I can't recollect there being that many ?

1, Main return spring at tick over adjuster (right big bugger on the right hand side of the picture)
2, between carb 1 and 2
2, between carb 2 and 3
2, between carb 3 and 4

thats before I look at the cable end just in case there is 1 there or if there is a small retern spring in the throttle position sensor  :D

Just bought a Venhill QA from Venhill. Would've been nice to let Phil Seton sort the fitting but waaaaay too far away from me to take the bike down.
TBH, anyone with a degree of mechanical skill could fit the kit, which is BTW,

very nice indeed  :D

the fitting is relatively easy,it's more just a pain getting the nipples into the throttle body as it's a really awkward to get your fingers down there (stubbie fingers i have  ;))
bones are made to be pinned.ask my surgeon.!!

I rate mine, I also cheated as I threaded the cable upto the twist grip and put the solderless nipple in that side,  made life easy as long as you trim cable off at the nipple  ;)
