Seton Tuning. Track/race bike set ups
« on: November 21, 2008, 12:59:10 AM »
Seton tuning.

a quick review after Ive just used them to aquire a QA throttle  ;)

The service, products and knowledge from charlie was totally spot on, (BTW, Charlie is a lady so dont fall for, I thought it was a guy thing)  :rofl

The throttle was not a off the shelf part and a bespoke complete 1 cable unit was fabricated and arrived at mine within 4 days  :yikes

Seton specialises in race/ track bike set ups and complete engine works to customers specs.

Advice and back up is offered free of charge to customers (and discount maybe offered on enquiries via PM)

I cant say how highly I recommend them and will defo be using them in the near future  :D

+100  Phil, Charlie and Tom have looked after my track bikes for about 5 years now and always go the extra mile for customers whatever their needs.

More than a few of us are riding with bits (or whole bikes) from Seton Tuning so they must be doing something right.

If your ever in Colchester way, pop in customer or not, they'll always get the kettle on and show you engines/dynos/full BSS bikes :-)

Hopefully we will have them on as resident specialists  ;) and I look forward to doing futher business with them in the very near future.

This was the 1st track set up company that Ive ever delt with that had the time to explain and take time with customers...

Damo raced it at EMRA

Spoke to Mr Seton on the phone one time about tuning my engine, he took 45 minutes out of his day to explain in detail what they could an couldnt do 75% of which went straight over my head. But all the same he seems like a top bloke who certainly knows his stuff. The only problem I found is where hes based (London village ish) bit far for me to travel every time I want something doing, so went with Rob from RJS based in Mallory Park, and in a way Im glad I did as he, like most tuners has always been very helpfull and also knows his stuff, he was the tuner for Rob Hoyles R6 as well as the Feisty Girls, all of which are putting out almost the same power as Damo Seton bike.

Whichever club I race with next year Ill more than likely go down the power route again and would not hesitate to hand the bike back over to Rob to work his magic, cos theres no doubt the more bhp the closer to the front ill be
