Project Sterilgarda Ducati (full rebuild)

Work started yesterday,

Plan is to fully strip it, overhaul, repair and repaint everything into Sterilgarda race colours.

specially while Shakey Burns has now signed up to Sterilgarda

pics on the progess to follow  :D

Radiator, pipes, and wiring loom out now,  just 2 bolts holding the motor in now  ;)

good luck with the swinging arm bolt that runs through the engine.  :D

they normally seize rock solid and won't come out  :o

Yeah,  this one is no different,  its moving but wont knock out.

it will move, but it's he sleeves inside that you can't get to that are the problem.  :D

careful with the big hammer, the frame is the first thing to get damaged, could turn out verrrrry ££££££  :o :o

it doesn't look like you have enough room in that garage to swing a hammer properly mate :o

Are the bolt and frame both steel? Have you tried rostoff yet?

Isn't it funny how talent runs out before enthusiasm :-[

plus gas will sort it


tried everything andy, you can't get heat to the right place for fear of damaging anything in the engine internally.

the big hammer is the weapon of choice and wedge the frame up against something solid... very solid  ;)

also got the engine out of the R6 and the front stripped on the 636  ::)
