I use an optimate but find that they are very fussy / quick to error - seems to be the multiplugs at fault as pushing it together like hell fixes the problem for a while.  A m8 has had exactly the same problem with his so must be a design fault?

It takes about 3-4 days. I have had one conected to a bike for 2.5 years when I was working away (on the plus side of that I came back to a nice clean license) and no problems
