Im looking at changing my ebc HH brake pads on my 2001 r6 and was wondering is there anything offering better performance for a slow trackday rider? cheers guys :D

stick to the HH and go a bit faster  ;)


standard kwak pads do a superb job, have you tried standard yamaha ones?

I love PF (performance friction) pads not cheap though, or you could try SBS Dual Carbons..  Very good take a lap or two to warm and have a sharp bite but half the price.  (Track only)

MMR's are fantastic - just buy them  :D

Best pads i've ever used (MCR's are a little scary - i'm sticking to MMR from now on) - different league (imho) compared to EBC.

Only downsides are the price (not as expensive as PF though) and they wear out pretty quickly - I was changing pads at the same time as rear sticky tyres  :o

i have just ordered some mmr's, should have them on for saturday, will let you know how i get on.  :D

Try them on the road after giving them 30 mins to cool down - like,say,for instance riding home after a day at Croft - first roundabout.........FOOKING HELL    :yikes :yikes
