LED Relay's
« on: February 28, 2009, 10:23:54 PM »
Well i have learnt alot from the experienced guys and its now time for another question.

Which Led Indicator relays are the best?  Motrax, Bike-It etc.

The reason is I'm finally getting to the bottom of my previous problem as posted before http://www.superbikeforums.co.uk/index.php/topic,32102.msg486231.html#msg486231
as all the circuit is fine (continuity wise) and i have a yamaha specific led flash-it relay which is motrax i think. When i first checked it i realise the prev owner had put resistors in aswell as the relay. So took resistors out and worked for a limited time again so i'm going to replace the relay again and needed advice on the best to purchase, i have a yam r6r 2co 2006.

Thanks in advance  :down

i thought a relay was a relay  ???

i know that i have got 2 x 20 ohm resistors at the rear of mine, they are quite big rectangular ones.
i tried finding some when i shattered them (the previous owner didnt strap them down under the tail unit)
i ended up soldering them back together and gluing them inside the tool case.

not very helpful i know but i havent seen a relay on mine  ???
