Crash protection

Reet last year I asked for advice on boots/gloves/leathers small review as I have had it all about a year

I opted for Arlen Ness DNA (some might think DNF) suit, 3 highsides later  it's still in one piece and so am I...

Alpine Star GP pro gloves (2 crashes)  crash damage has been small they have worn well although the stitching has come undone on one finger (build not crash related)

SIDI Vertigo Corsa Pros (2 crashes) have lasted well and I even ran over my own ankle, not a lot of damage at all....soles are wearing now though.

So expensive kit but has done it's job and is still safe to ride with...I would reconmmend all of it to anyone..

Interesting Damo ...

I too had some Alpinestars GP Tech gloves ... 1 crash and looked OK but the stitching too has come undone along two fingers. So not that great imo (given the cost).

Arlen Ness 5910 Roo Suit .. 1 crash and still going strong. Well worth the cash and super comfy.

Sidi Vertigo Corsa's .. 2 crashes and were going well till I wore through the sole.  Well worth the money. Lasted nearly 3 seasons.

The Vertigo Corsa's now replaced by a pair of Alpinestars Supertech R's - very comfy even if a little storm trooper in looks !

ive got the arlen ness kangaroo suit too and 2 crashes so far and its still mint.

ive got alpinestars gp pro gloves and after about 4 crashes theyre still going strong. really good stuff. im on my 2nd pair of supertech's now too and after 2 crashes in my last boots and 1 crash so far in my new ones i wouldn't buy anything else. the only problem i can see is the soles are indented of pushing on the pegs. the soles are a little thin but for the track theyre perfect

I have got that with Xpd's, Sidis and Oxtars.... Found out Shakey has to/Had to put something in his boot to stop them wearing the sole out... We're in good company..  :D
