I've read a journo's review and I've spoke to a tyre guy, complete opposite opinion's..

Has anyone tried them?

Not yet.

Supposed to be longer lasting and easier going versions of the same grippy tyre.

All the stuff i've read have had the journo's raving over them - I presume the 'tyre man' didn't have stock/had loads of older stuff to clear?

 ;)

Metzeler did a similar thing when they introduced the first Racetec - grippier AND longer lasting than the Rennsport - seems they've done it again.

Well he got out the Metzeler handbook and basically it reads that they have a different side construction like the new diablo's which will give better longevity.  But it did read to be aimed more at road/trackday riders (like the BSB) other than trackdays/Racing.  But it could be lost in translation.

Probably lost in translation (from English to Damo-ish  ;)).

Can't imagine the K0 and K1 compounds selling very well to road riders  ;)

Looks like the BSB is a road tyre and the new interact is the road-legal race tyre - only one way to be sure though.

get them bought  :D
