Bit quick off the mark aren't you?

I'd have given them chance to put it right before slating them  :-\

They messed up.

When they put it right, I'll amend my post accordingly.

not the biggest mess up in my opinion to be fair mate.

Human error probably, even if it only happens once in every 10,000 orders, it's still gonna happen to someone. just unfortunate it was you.

how long was the ageing delivery (and surely you knew about this trackday a while back and should have been prepearing earlier than the week before it, like we all do  ;))

I'm not saying that it's a good situation, but normally a big firm like that will sort you out if they've made a mistake (like a bit of money knocked off, or postage refunded, discount on a future order etc)

Delivery was about 4 days in the end, I think that VisorShop.com has next day delivery as standard?

Right... I'll change the post for now, if they mess up with the fixing, then I'll slate.

4 days is less than the following quote from their FAQ's page.

http://www.racevisors.co.uk/information.php

FAQ

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Most UK orders arrive within 1-2 working days, but please allow up to 5 working days for UK orders.

to be fair if it was ordered late in the day it probably missed the cut off for that day, and as they don't charge for the postage they probably use second class.

if it was that urgent it might have been worth getting it shipped out guaranteed next day or paying for 1st class post or something.

like I said before though, it still sucks, but hey at the end of the day just remember...

... Don't worry, be happy (as the great man himself once said)

I've used racevisors many times and not once have they messed up.....End of the day they're only human as HW said, and mistakes do happen.....

I wouldn't call 4 days very long at all.......We tell people that we expect to get deliveries out by two weeks!!

To be fair to Alex his pre-edited post was hardly 'slating' a company  ::)

Read to me as stating facts and reflected his slight annoyance - best way to post in topics like this IMHO.

Let us know how you get on  :D

Cheers Legz, that's what I was aiming for.  :D

I've emailed them, so I will wait to hear from them.

Thinking about it though, if they come back and resolve the situation with an appropriate solution, wouldn't it give them better publicity than "Yeah, they sent it, I got it"?

 ;)

Reet then, spoke to them earlier, to the lines of:

"We've a new guy working in the warehouse, he's trying his hardest bless him"

Yup, bless him, but that ain't gonna get my brother a black visor.

They offered to rectify their mistake by sending out another, but nothing further in the way of compensating for their mistake (just a gesture would have been nice, like some £5 tear-offs or a cleaning cloth for example).

Will be sticking with VisorShop.com from now on tbh.

I've just bought from race visors and when ordering there is a statement that tells you it can take 4-5 working days, My Free visor turned up on day three and my helmet came on the 4th working day which was a monday But looks like the helmet came direct from supplier so i cant complain about there service. And they were cheaper than anywhere else by the time you added a tinted genuine visor :D
