As above people. After giving myself plenty of time to think things through, I have come to the final conclusion that I will not be returning to bikes having sold my R1 a couple of months ago.
I will be selling the following items, would also consider an offer on the lot if anyone is interested - would be at a good discounted rate to save me the hassle ...
Arlen Ness 1 piece leathers in Black/Grey/White. Suit medium sized person, I am about 11.5 stone and they fit me fine, and would accomodate a few more lbs if they had to I'm sure. I am @ 5'8" in height. I think the size is 52 but would need to confirm this. I bought these from Simon Shooter in superb condition, and have only worn them twice. They are in very good condition indeed with no rips or tears in the leather. They have the speed hump and all knee/shin.shoulder/elbow armour too. Amazingly good leathers which I believe to be around £600 new. I bought these from Simon recently for £200 plus post, only looking for my money back as they have seen virtually no use from me. so -
£200 plus post
Pair of paddock stands in red - not the usual cheap shite, these are crackin very good quality stands, rear with adjustable hooks bought from yammy main dealer and used probably about 5 or 6 times. Both quality stands and cost about £90 the pair new. -
£50 plus post
Aplinestars GP Pro gloves medium (ones with the pinky stitched on to next finger) in white with black knuckle protection etc. From memory one very small mark on right glove but really nothing major. Have been used about half a dozen times on short rides, cost me £120 a few months ago and almost as new -
£60 plus post
*Brand new* optimate. I bought this after fitting a new battery to my bike a few months ago, it's never been out of the box. Most recent version bought from yammy dealer (opti 4 i think).
£25 plus post (bargain!!!)
*as new* Knox Aegis back protector. AMAZING bit of kit. cheesy review here lol
Genuinely, I have used this only a few times as I only got it to go with the leathers I got from Simon. Bought brand new from hein Gericke only a few months ago and its as close to new as youd get without buying brand new. I am sure I paid about £80. First
£45 plus post gets it.
Sidi Vertebra 2 Tepor boots size 9. Great pair of boots. Waterproof racing boot.. Have saved my shins/feet/ankles twice now !!! As such they are a little battlescarred around the usual scuff areas, toes, anlkes etc. BUT they are still servicable. All fasteners are like new (boots have probably only done a couple of thousand miles) soles have tonnes of life left and I am 100% confident that they are still perfectly useable, if a little tatty looking. Cost me £180. In current state you can have them for
£30 plus post
I also have a Hein Gericke set of textiles which has been used about half a dozen times. These are literally AS NEW too. Again, suit meduim sized person and these are waterproof and suitable for all weather use. They zip together at the waist and are black/grey in colour, look almost kind of like denim but feels a little different. Good kit. Cost me (fro memory) about £170 all in with the armour (yes armoured too) but as they are in such good condition I think they are easily worth
£90 plus post
I think that's about it. I do have other bits and bobs but they are a little more used and not really worth selling I would have thought. I might come accross the odd other thing and I'll post it up.
Please ask if you have any questions. At work just now so don't have pics of anything, if you feel you need pics then I will do my best to sort them out. Payment wise, either cash/postal orders/paypal are fine but with paypal I would ask that any payments are sent as "paypal gift" so that I don't lose any more money by way of commission. I feel I'm being fair with the prices as it is.
As I say, if someone wanted to have the lot that wold suit me even better, and a healthy discount would be given just for me to get shot of it - but if you are buying individual things, then the price is the price ... no haggling.
Cheers people.
