Ive just been offered a deal on a new set of Avon VP2 Xtremes (avon's answer to track tyres)!! Now usually i dont  stray away from Supercorsa's for my track bike but the thought of shelling out nearly £600  :yikes on tyres for Cartegana on top of everything else is getting outa hand!!
I was thinking of throwing em on for the first day n half when i will still be learning the circuit and throwing a new set of supercorsa's on for the last day n half?!?!:?

Has anyone used them before and are they up to the job (fast group)?  thumbsup

Viper Xtreme's seemed fine (on a T-reg R1). A bit non-descript if I'm honest but they didn't do anything daft either. Were good enough for a few 1:04s at Pembrey so not race pace (59s) but quick.

On the road they vibrated at between 110-150 so my guess is they are sensative to balancing.

Aye, I've used them and they were fine, no major moments. Bit of a rear slide at Croft once but it was progressive, didn't snap out and came back in line without drama.
