when his fellow police bikers turned up they loved the bike and suggested to the undercover twat that he just let me go. He didnt look like he wanted to do that.

So £200 and 5 points because the twat wouldn't follow the advice of his colleagues.

The attitude of some coppers makes my pìss boil.
Older than my waist size but the leathers are a bit tight :-(

I refuse to enter a battle of wits with unarmed members.

having had good and bad experiences over the years i wouldn't state something as simplistic as "i hate coppers" as its simpoly not true (on my part anyhows)

i have a burning hatred for certain "shining examples" of her majesty's finest based on personal experiences, however i also have a number of customers that are serving officers and they are as sound and down to earth as you'd want............
bit simplistic to lump all together - no better than the "all motorcyclists are wankers (insert whatever tem you like here)" hatred that gets spouted

as an aside if you all hate them so much i suppose you would never ever feel a need to call on their services to help you or your family out  :wistle

no your wrong it is true i do hate coppers
my view about coppers isnt based on one experiance at all, or is it saying that i hate a certain copper or is it saying that i think all coppers are wankers, all i said is that i hate coppers ie the police

if i feel the need to call on the police i would doesnt mean i cant hate them or does it mean that i will get justice if i am a victim of crime.

so not quite simplistic is it. whistle whistle whistle

Hmm me thinks not as i do have points on my license Bill so think again and get your facts right

Oh and getting rid of traffic cops is a bad idea as they are the guys who deal with a lot of cross border thieves who do use vehicles to go to other areas to do their crimes unless they are driving from your area to go over the borders Bill

I'm agreeing more with Alyn - there are a few (Ok,one perhaps  ;) ) examples of decent coppers who aren't afraid to use discretion rather than suck the cock of crime figures and the latest political 'target'.

Equally, there are a few 'examples' with a chip on the shoulder,a point to prove and a career to further who haven't quite got the intelligence to pull off 'wit' and fall on the sword of hypocrisy and sanctimony (Coppers - if you're reading this and it describes you, please get it sorted. Thanks,Legz aged 42 1/2)

Just the same as bakers, bus drivers, mechanics, gas fitters etc etc.

Difference being, you only interact with them when you've been naughty or need their assistance - none an ideal situation to form real opinions.

Having said that,I only really know one copper and he is a riding god. :005_ssad:

(The fire service were unavailable - they were cornered in an inner-city street by three ten year olds wealding big sticks - the police couldn't attend but fear not,the fireman received a crime number and an NIP for reversing up a one way street).
