Getting back on two wheels.
« on: January 19, 2010, 10:41:10 PM »
Its been so long since i rode a bike on the road and never getting my full licence  :banghead
I am finally in a postion to get it done and with the promise of being put forward to do mots at work I thought I best pull my finger out . :-[
So yesterday on my dinner break i decided that i would buy myself a 125 to get me back into the swing of riding on the road . As I walked round with the boss I ended up buying a aprilla af 125 1991 very cheap :jump :jump

It dos need abit of work and a small amount of new parts but nothing major . :LOL

They are poor quality because there of my phone i will get some with my camera at the weekend in the day light

My list so far is.
New chain and sprockets
New disc and pads
Number plate
Fresh oil and brake fluid
New Petrol cap
Two new tyres
and I'm sure there will be more to do . lol

Is there anything else supporting the bike in that picture?
Superbikers - with great power comes great stupidity
Supermotoerers - with less power comes irresponsibility

Just the front stand.
As soon as i put the sponge to the front wheel the bike started to fall ! lol :-[
I caught it tho thankfully it doesn't weigh much .
