Castrol chain wax is ace :D Forget Scottoilers they are more trouble than they are worth, took mine of the busa 3 weeks ago.Just clean and wax the chain every few hundred miles or so and it should'nt be a problem.

Used castrol chain wax last year & it did a good job, i tryed the new stuff, lubed the chain 3 times & it's crap. it cleans the chain but doesn't lube it very well at all  :(

use it on mine and its great stuff, but it makes the chain "look" dry?

yeah it looks like you havent put anything on it  ???
i always think i put nothing on it, but it stops dirt sticking on it, but i dont know how good on long term... since it doesnt look lubricated

I can see your concerns.

2 weeks ago I thoroughly cleaned my chain in parafin, dried it, then lubed with the "New Formula" - and after 2 weeks hard use it's still there! (i.e. upto 140[kmh, cough, lol], 34 miles/day, 5 days/week ~ 350+ miles total), so I'm pleased with it! ;)

The white stuff was crap!Fitted Scottoiler to my CBR1000f not had to adjust chain in over 6000 mile (and no i do go over 30mph).Hide it under the seat or inside fairing, saves you a fortune!New c+s on my CBR cost me £165,and lasted about 9000 miles. As i said, done over 6000 miles on new set with the oiler, and no adjustment!

Isnt Castrol Chain Wax for O rign chains only.
Castrol Chain Spray O-R is for X ring?

I use Putoline Tech Chain spray , as long as chain is hot it goes on well with no fling. On a cold chain its like a muck spreader lol but then good old fairy liquid neet does the trick on the fling.

i have always used castrol chain wax but i usually lube the chain after i have been out for a run that way the chain is still warm and the lube soaks in better so it is even less likely to fling off
