I spent most of yesterday working on mine, as I put a new link pipe and end can on mine.

Also did a thorough pre riding checkover as going to go out on it later today

Tom got me a rear seat pod as well, early b'day present, looks sweet

Tootled up the Ponderosa up the Horseshoe Pass, met a few mates. Quick run to Bala then down to The Gatehouse for very nice bowl of hot soup. Home and a wash off the salt, bike back in the shed and a couple of beers to finish.
A very pleasant Sunday......

Tried my muvi camera out again, same road same conditions ten times windyer, this time on an L shaped bracket gaffer taped down on top of the petrol cap,result.................Fail again :-\ :-\ picture was unwatchable, really wobbly mixture of vibration/wind movement i think,it got really bad at high speed and changing down the box, gonna try again with it taped on top of the HESD unit on top of the forks,if that does not work then I'm out of ideas other than putting on  the armband and wearing it at the top of my arm.

Great fast blast though

 ;)

Used to have a Renault 2ltr Turbo Arry and had that same problem, had to have fully synthetic oil as well,I think the sump held either 6ltrs or 6 1/2 ltrs at that time the Elf oil was £7 a ltr,it was good oil though but always had to buy the 5 ltr tub and an extra 2 ltrs :005_scry:

well that car oil vs bike oil myth is busted for me. did the Wotton Basstet ride bike got quite hot no clutch issues and had a spirited ride home with no issues .
