has anyone ever put  anything like redex in there bikes at all ? was talking to a guy at work he said he used it a couple of times on an old bike that he had just wondered if it could do any damage :-\

Mostly snake oil ........... The engine does not need any additives, its not developed with any additives in mind.

Redex will cause damage if not put in  in the correct quantities, it is used to decoke the engine which isnt always a good thing cos the crap in the engine has infact helped seal the pistons etc. I know people who have used it and put about a egg cup full in but they have old harleys s it doesnt really matter ;)

Redex make a number of products, one of which is a De-coker/engine cleaner, they also do fuel addatives, injector cleaner, lead replacement addative, diesel cleaner and they also do various oil addatives too  :thumbsup:
I would only ever use the engine cleaner (decoker) on an old engine and never on anything high performance  :thumbsup:
if your engine is coked up, get it stripped and done properly  :thumbsup:
