Sidi Vertigo Corsa or AStars SMX-Plus Boots

I currently have a pair of Sidi Rain boots and as a new biker they have been my only pair until now.
Now I am thinking of either Sidi Vertigo Corsa or Alpinestars SMX-Plus boots.
Do you have either of these and which would you choose if not?

I've got Smx-plus and I love them! Lovely secure fit and comfortable enough to wear all day.  :thumbsup:

I've had both and much prefer the A stars, I now have a set of A Star Supertec Rs bloody awesome boots :thumbsup:

2 very diff fitting boots... try them both and keep them on for 10 mins or so and get the feel for um

im an smxplus man as the sidi's dont fit right

Has the SMX plus boots and they last for ever (must have done 50 to 60k in them at least), much longer than the sidi's I have had  in the past. Anyway now have the supertech R's and like SON says, they are awsome.

I cant fault the build quality of Astars

Had the alpinestars but they used to squeak like fook! Great protection though, better than sidis. Have supertechs now and they are very good!

If you lube/clean them with a little silicone polish they give up the squeaking. :thumbsup:

Had both, but prefer the AStars.  The Sidi's used to pinch me tootsies if I wore them all day.  The AStars are like slippers, but click like a cockroach with a stammer  :thumbsup:

Had 2 pairs of Sidi's and 3 pairs of SMX over the years, just treated myself to some new Sidi's,

I think Astar SMX's are more for the track as you can't where them with jeans unless you wear bay city roller style flares,

And nowt worse than a pair of jeans tucked into race boots  :nono:
