Rossi's mind games
« on: July 20, 2010, 10:10:10 AM »
It seems that Rossi has started the mind games with Stoner already :giggle

"It was a great battle with Stoner, congratulations to him. If it happened the other way around he would surely have cried like he did after Laguna Seca [in 2008], but this is racing. I'm happy because he was smiling at the end".

And Stoner's quote ;)

"Everybody's going on like he's a crippled hero," Stoner said. "He has a pin in the leg, and the only problem is a bit of muscle".

I'm not going to give my opinion on this until I know all the facts.
I'm just waiting for someone in the know to post  ;)

You could always ask someone their opinion and then post what they say  But don't forget to use the get out clause of "well that is what I was told" ;)

Stoner. "We've all been through injuries - myself, Jorge [Lorenzo] and Dani [Pedrosa] - and nobody ever talks about this. But when Valentino has an injury everybody talks about what a big difference it is"

What, like when he was suffering from his mystery illness last season?  Stoner's turning into a bit of a mardarse  ::)

Turning?!  :LOL

If a rider is recovering from an injury the commentators tend to mention it every couple of minutes, whether during practice, qualifying or race.

Superbikers - with great power comes great stupidity
Supermotoerers - with less power comes irresponsibility

what Stoner doesn't seem to grasp is it's not enough to win races or even be quick, if you want the attention you have to be an attraction off the bike too and that's where he lacks.

apparently Stoners illness was not a mystery they found he just needed his nappie changing
