standard honda oil cooler/water pump, the cable on the laeft is the water temp plug for the ecu,and wire on right is crank sensor (or at least looks like to me,having stripped the blades engine all the bits look very similar).

also cant quite tell but looks like next to the selector drum a chunk of the engine block is missing, looks to rough to be machined or cast like that?

what else, provision for a side stand,i'm guessing it's not a motogp bike then  LOL

although they haven't made a v5 road bike have they so who knows what it was/is?

*ok,killing a bit of time and does look very similar to to what he says so could well be a prototype  Undecided

cant see how it can be an rc211v as honda demand all the leased bikes are returned after the lease expires so they cant be sold on/ copied etc

It's definitely a V5 with a dry clutch, so not sure what else it could be.

but is quite different to the 1 in the pics i posted.

seems strange that it is a v5 but then has quite a few stock parts on it,which loking at the GP engine is very different, same as the frame,it's similar but not quite the same, air ducts are different.so it could well be an early prototype?

There was talk of a V5 blackbird-replacement, so it could have been some early work on that project.

thats what i was getting from the ad.
"The engine is not an RCV, but a pre production prototype"

maybe the first attempt honda made ?

still surprised honda sold it on and not crushed it or put it in their museum !
