I'd go for renthal's again, because they lasted really well on my zx7r.

However I must admit, I think there called Talon (steel outer teeth and alloy inner) look the part.

And any pretty gold looking chain for me  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Supersprox do composite sprockets  No idea what they are like though, but sound like a good compromise between weight and durability.

I'd probably pick the cheapest premium brand of the grade I needed - i.e. up to the job of the bike I own from a known manufacturer  I think I have DID chains on both bikes but they were already on when I bought the bikes. THey've lasted well and I'd be likely to choose them again
Superbikers - with great power comes great stupidity
Supermotoerers - with less power comes irresponsibility

DiD,Regina,Tzubaki - all good kit that will last well if looked after.

Steel front and alloy rear sprockets work well but don't expect 10,000+ miles out of an alloy rear sprocket - the Renthal fitted to my ZX10 lost 4 or 5 teeth after 4000 miles (including loads of track days it has to be said) but at around 35 quid it's no big problem.

Those steel/alloy rear sprockets might well last well but they're twice the price (or were when I last locked at them) so might be a false economy.

Bill,if flying around at 160+mph no longer interests you,now might be a good time to look at changing your gearing - 1 off the front or +2,+3 on the rear will transform performance : it will feel like the bike has an extra 20bhp and makes the bike far punchier in top on A roads/motorways.

It's exactly what Honda did (although internally) - the 06 Blade is lower geared than the 04/05.

Apparently,Scooby almost did a wheelie on his so it must work  :clap

Give Alyn a bell/PM - he's sorted a few members out with good deals
