Fair do for pleading guilty

And I do think that Laverda has a point about the prejudice against bikers and stereo-typing, because of our lapses in judgment for speeding etc etc.

Do I think it'll be fair that your banned for doing 101 mph on a motorway, have tbh and say no, howevr on your speedo that'll be about 110mph-120mph, so slow down a bit next time your on the motoway.

Because of this ban risk always try and keep under the 3 figure number for any extended periods

I wont even hazard a guess, just try to demonstrate you were assessing the risk etc, clear day, good visability, low traffic but dont be trying to justifying your speed.

Look shocked and distressed that this momentary loss of judgemnet could have had serious consequences, beg forgiveness and lieniency you never know

I do however wish you all the luck fro your court appearance

Well I have also been riding for over 30 years and got caught for speeding a few times ( you cant see them all the time )
For Loverda to come out with his comments fair play there are some bikers who just play at it and you also get the born agains no problem there I think every one has a right to see if they like bikes or not

Im just careful where I speed dual carriage ways and motor ways well you have to keep it below 100 or you are enticing a ban also this is where most of the umarked white capped traffic officers play they know you are an easy target on these roads and people do speed we are only human (I think)

Fair play for holding your hands up to the speeding I would have tried to pleed with the cop for 99 mph and see if he would have given you a ticket

Hope you dont get hit too hard in court but if you speed you take the risk of having to pay some times

Schtall did say the pc left the dual carriageway then returned behind him, so the speed limit should be 70mph. Possible ban but always worth trying a bit of damage limitation

As Shooey has pointed out, the specifics can make a difference. If Schtall was riding like a complete c**k then he probably will get a ban, but pointing out that except for the excessive speed he was riding in a controlled and relatively "safe" manner might go some way to a lesser penalty.
A little slice of humble pie wouldn't go amiss either

Good luck Schtall

30 mph over the threshold is usually a ban mate i take it the A27 is 60mph which puts you 41 over the speed limit,in the current anti bike courts,i would say your deffo getting banned,1 or 2 months,i would'nt bother with a lawyer let the court appoint you one and its free,he got me 6 points £400 fine for 94.7 in a 60

Unless otherwise stated !

If not sure when on the road it's best not to presume. :nono:

I know some that are 50 mph and I know some that are even less
There's one in Edinburgh that's 30mph !  ::) I'm actually going down it at midnight to pick up my son & girlfriend up from the Fringe.
