Hi all,
Got caught doing 101 on the A27 in April and have just received the summons for court on the 20th, will be pleading guilty as it was a fair cop. What, in peoples experience, do you expect I'll get? Looking around online I've found the maximum is 6 points, £1000 fine, 56 day ban, but think you get a ban OR points, not both. Had an SP30 from 2004 but that has now been removed, otherwise my license is clean. I've since sold my bike so thinking of using that to an advantage if possible - remorse, seen the error of ways etc
Also, is it worthwhile getting a solicitor? Had a quick look around at costs
Will having one really be a saving in the long run?
Cheers
I was banned for 6 months and fined £300 a few years back for doing 106 mph on A5....
