Michelin power pures 2ct
« on: February 26, 2011, 07:05:33 AM »
I bought these tyres a approx a week ago, they now developed a bubble on the shoulder, have had the mechanic have a look and the rubber has defo parted from the carcass.

I will post up some pictures later.

However if anyone else has had a similiar problem with this tyre let me know

It looks like its going to take 2 weeks to sort out, as they are sending a tech to look at it,

I will post further updates on here, as it maybe a faulty batch

Firstly have a  :down to keep you going for the next fortnight.

I trust that is just a problem with the 2CT Pure's, and not the Pilot Power's.

I will be keeping an eye on mine.

Just for the record, how many miles had you done on the new tyres?

Bit of a worry isn't it?  :o

I've got them fitted (around 4000 miles inc a couple of trackdays) and no issues - never heard anyone else with issues either.

Well i hadnt till now  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

However, as you all know, I'm not a hard trackday rider and as they are designed for both track and fast road they still shouldnt have done it. Must be honest though the dealer was concerned that they would be a bit ragged, but as you can see from the pictures there no rips and or tears which would have caused this issue.

As it was the lad's shop which supplied them, I'm having to hold my tongue, and just wait  ::)
