Just so everyone knows, a letter was sent to the 5 lads first class on 23rd dec (so it arrived xmas eve), to advise them they weren't allowed their bikes, leathers etc back yet as they were still reviewing the case. Today, a court summons has arrived, the police are now pursuing a dangerous driving charge. The case has been ongoing for well over a year now and this charge is now suddenly added?!!! victimisation? I wish they'd just leave them alone :-(. Thanks for your continued support everyone x x

looks like an embarrassing moment was had for the bike hunters so they have to justify their cock up somehow. there are a lot out there that wont be happy until bikes are off the road, then they will start to bully the next small minority...........  em all!

I have lost track now of this one ?

So the charge of Dangerous Driving was never dropped ? {The original charges being: two counts of causing death by dangerous driving with one of the defendants being charged with: two counts of causing death by dangerous driving while uninsured as well as: two counts of causing death by dangerous driving}

So what is going on? According to MCN on the 6/1/12 the five were cleared by LEEDS MAGISTRATES COURT ????

According to FB and posts on this forum they were cleared back at the beginning of December.

Could someone clear this up for me ? so now according to FB and this thread they are being charged again ????

Please don't any one jump down my throat for saying this but before we criticise the police and their actions {see above posts regarding my feelings on the subject I am no fan of the system} remember two people lost their lives a wife and husband and 4 people lost a daughter and a son, imagine if it was someone you lost would you not wish for their deaths to be fully investigated?
However it does concern me that a precedent could be set that would not be justified if the five did in fact have to face a guilty conviction. I am not passing judgement on the case but I am saying do not forget that two people died.

The original charges of "Death by Dangerous driving" and all of the other initial charges were dropped on 6th December, however on Christmas eve they were all told that new charges had been made of "Dangerous Driving" these are new charges and were not made prior to 23rd December 2011 following the incident some 18 month previous

I understand so they are " New Charges" for Dangerous Driving [not death by dangerouse driving]
For fùck sake I am thinking it is about time they forgot it - they were charged wrong in the first place [that does not implie guilt or innocence l am just talking about charges] and the police should drop it now.
It does seem they are just OUT TO GET THESE LADS - bastards.

Is this an attempt to get a conviction (no matter what) to justify:

I don't see what's 'fair and comprehensive' about dawn raids on the homes are normal people (especially considering they offered no evidence in court).
