As most of you know, Scream, Rotax (Ewan Mc Gregor looky-likey) and myself rode around the entire coast of the UK in May of this year (3300 miles)
I am planning on doing another trip next year and would be interested to see who else wants to take part.
I am not going to say where the route is at this stage as I don't want someone stealing my idea.
All I will say is that it is a 7 day UK trip covering approx 150-200 miles per day, in May 2012. It may not seem much but when you are travelling on single track B roads and small villages you'll be suprised how many miles you don't clock up. And if we do reach the destination early, it means more time in the pub
There will be no restriction on bikes, so ride what you want, as long as it is capable of 60mph, and road legal (before the trip starts
)
This is not a race, so if you wish to tear off and get to the daily destination within a couple of hours, help yourself, it just means that you'll be sitting about for quite some time.
You must be self-sufficient, i.e. own tent, sleeping bag, cooking stove & equipment etc And don't forget your waterproofs. Rain does not stop play
If there are more than 4 that wish to do this trip, then camp sites will need to be booked in advance and deposits paid. Hence I need numbers
You will need to get time off work, and permission from HMS Her-Indoors
Again I intend to do this for SBF's chosen charity, so any monies raised will go to a worthy cause
So if you are keen to have a fookin' good laugh, drink copious amounts of tea & coffee (Scream), then start hunting e-bay for an old shitter to ride and a tent to live in, the more the merrier
