Well as some of you know I had a bit of a prang at Portimao and did a bit of damage to the bike :banghead and managed to brake my leg :icon_boohoo:
I am in a position now to start again with the bike from a clean sheet of paper. As the tank took a knock the bike could do with a respray and I have decided to paint her up in Relentless colours. Nice simple block black that would be easy to repair if {not when} I come of again.
This will be a long project I can feel that - but the first step - after a couple of weeks to think things out was to decide upon which direction I would go - a quick fix - with no regard for how it would look and just throw the bike together and get on track asap or do a god damn good job and have it looking good again. Decided I want the bike to look good.
I would like to get the bike looking close to Guy Martins TT bike.
I shall post some pics and keep peeps informed of my plans. As soon as the leg is fixed I shall get going on the project - found some black wheels and I am waiting for pay day to order them - so long as they hold on to them for a couple of days I shall order them on Friday.

:wave You did make me laugh the answers are
This should now be called the Richie Hospital NOT the Superbike Hospital
Question 1 Is your leg in plaster?
No the brake is clean and being just below the knee the hospital said that it could freeze the knee joint if it was in plaster- so they felt it was better I should go home and rest {poor Helen :clap :clap} and to leave it alone . I broke the Fibula which is the smaller of the two bones below the knee it is not a load carrying bone therefore I can hobble / wobble around with a pair of crutches.
Very good advice from the hospital - they told Helen that I need lots of rest and sympathy and care and looking after and much mopping of my brow with breakfast in bed.
They also said let some one else do the shopping and cleaning and washing up - honest this is what the Doctor said :jump :jump
He also told Helen that he needs lots of help in the bike shed.
Question 2 Or are you still looking for sympathy?
Off cause not I am being brave {ever ever so brave}and exhibiting a high degree of fortitude in time of crisis and anguish :icon_boohoo: I will struggle and keep smile about me while inside I am a broken man. :thumbsup: {poor poor me ever so poor me}
Can you see how brave I am in the picture?
Question 3 Oh and don't take the plaster off the tank, I dont think it will be healed yet?
The plaster had to come of the tank cause the tank is going to get a re-spray soon so I {helen} had to strip the tank down this weekend.
Any way I have posted a couple of pics to show the damage
Fairing buggered. If I tried to fix it it would not have any real strength left in it or half a ton of fibre glass to get the strength.
Clip on along with the brake resorvoir bottle
Rearset missing in action
Crash mushrooms forked
tank just scuffed with the top filed of
key bent and filed
Double bubble exploded
Seat unit may be fixable
Swingarm lost a bit {that bit you screw your bobbins into} one bobbin gone awol
Brace that supports the Clocks and the top of the fairing and the double bubble
I think that is it.
