Mrs cd I had the gsxr6 when it came out in 97, just after passing my test   :rotflmao: they look much better now. What can do you have on it.

Hey biff, I`m thinking about sticking stomp grips on the Mille, are they worth it?

Nice bikes all. I had a 2001 carbed R1 and it was awesome! Had an 02 injection after that, and I think the 2001 was a better road machine personally  :005_sbiggrin:

I got some on my 750 great for hard braking you can dig your legs into the tank and gain a lot more control the rider does not move so much, also an aid to hanging of the bike.
But you have to get use to it, you have to get into the habit of using your legs and not just your arms to brace yourself - worth it considering they are only around £40.

Stomp grips are good, However I only use the bike on the road, I should imagine that they are even better when used in anger on track.

The only thing I have found is that they do wear on the inside of the knee area of my leathers (see pic)

Only thing if I decide to change em, how hard are they to get off as the RSV tank is matt, and can do with out damaging the finish if they really bind to it...
