Caught speeding...................again !!

Just got pinged for speeding, 86 in a 50. The copper said that due to the speed he could not issue me with a fixed penalty ticket and I would have to attend court.

Its my own daft fault, and I blame no-one else for my actions.

What do you think I will get ?

I can't help you regarding what punishment you might get since I have never been prosecuted for speeding especially since I never speed

Speeding again ? have you still got points on your licence ? I hope not.
Also you are well in excess of 45% threshold so get your boots ready could be a short ban  {sorry did not want to say it}

I would say 6 points at least 
Plus fine and costs.

Saw that on look north last night, funny that bikers have been jailed for similar speeds, defo a case of double standards

Nasty, got caught at 98 in a 60 two years ago on the A82 up here, plead guilty by letter ( they made me watch the video in the back of the car) when you get the summons theres an opportunity to plead for mitigation, they ask for a full financial breakdown of the household income and monthly expenditure, this is to either lower the fine due to financial circumstances and increase the points / ban period or up the fine and reduce the points, if you plead guilty at the first chance they knock around 20% off the fine

Biff could be a ban as your 36 mph over the speed limit, but i got a court appearance, 6 points and a £400 fine for 94.7 in a 60 so you might get lucky   was told i would have been banned if i did not have a clean license,so i hope you have no points
