Scottish notes ARE accepted, as they are widely recognised as british currency. If they were not to be accepted, they would have to be treated as foreign notes thus there would be an exchange rate...you go into a bank and ask what the exchange rate is for scottish notes and see what they say to you...
Sorry but its common sense to me that it would and should be allowed to be used as legal tender in this country.
Well I suggest you go back and read the thread, I never said that they were "NOT Accepted" I said they are not legal tender, the "Legal Tender" thing is quite clear, just as english notes are not "Legal Tender" in scotland and having worked in an industry for the last 24 years where payments for goods/account and deposits are taken every day (and not for a bank for 5 mins

) i know that in england it is perfectly acceptable (and legal) to refuse payment in scottish notes, but hey you continue with your rant little'un
