New bikes for 2012
« on: January 15, 2012, 08:52:53 PM »
Who's changing their machines for this year? My road bike will stay as the Triumph Daytona955 but my track bike is changing from a CBR600RR to an 04 R1,although both are road legal.

Sticking with my 18 year old machine as i've got no spare cash  :icon_boohoo: especially as the missus is about to drop our 1st baby any day now  :jump
To be honest I'll just be happy if I get her mot'd again this year as she was like a new bike after getting her fitted with new rubber last year

Would like to get a newer Gixer, but there is no way I could justify the cost  :005_ssad:

Also not sure if a newer bike (2nd hand) would actually be any better than what I've got, so money is planned to be spent on sorting out the handling on the K1

Keeping the SRAD 750 track bike..but shes had a respray so will feel a bit newer. Hopefully.

The missus likes the new honda cross tourer thing that she saw at NECC but its not in dealers till march apparently...think we will keep the FJR for at least another year and then see what tourers are on the go.

However, I never found any reliability issues, what snags have you had?
