However, I never found any reliability issues, what snags have you had?

Yeah I love mine too. So much character and such an awesome sound 
Oh you know just the usual italiano QC. Wires joined by crimps and no solder in the charging system leading to resistance issues, poorly desgined wiring to the battery, so unreliable charging, clutch slave seals that like to dissolve in clutch fluid 
Sorted all of the above now though, it now gets over a volt more charge to the battery, and changed the clutch slave for an uprated mpl jobbie. Its all labours of love with this though! Its coming together nicely

That'll be a canny bike when you get the battery and charging circuit sorted - it's a heavy bastard to push

its been no bother before or since, was just pulling your pi%%er really as you didn't look very hot.........
think it simply got too hot sitting at stoopid low speed for 30-40mins............
