Still putting bloody 207`s on em I see!
Well probably 208`s now.

Looks good man, I miss mine.

I recommend slowly working up to the limits. What I mean is say you (off the top of my head) have another 200 miles, then you will be able to rev it another 2k. Gradually rev it more and more over those 200 miles, so by the time you have done them you have just started touching the new limit.

I found they run in a bit less tight and are quicker after that.

I used to put mobile 1 in mine, and always warmed it up and the previous owner was a mate, and he use the same. It ran trouble free for two years and was faster than three others I compared it to by quite abit...

What are 207s?

And nobody has ever mentioned building up the revs as the mileage rolls on but seems like a real good suggestion as its not like anything suddenly changes at 500 miles when they say I can go from 6k to 9k max revs.

Thanks for that. (you'd have got a thumbsup if I could do it on my phone lol).

Dunlops

Crap tires  :LOL

To be fair when they worked they were good, but the RS is so light the never really heat up that well, and can be abit inconsistent. That said the RS makes excellent use of any grip it has.

Your welcome buddy, happy to help
Its strange but when running them in you can almost feel the edge of where its ready to rev to, like the engine feels abit tight, and gradually loosens up further and further.
Think of it like stretching your hamstrings or adductors, increasing bit by bit  :wave

Lol dont worry too much, like I said I kneedowned my RS everywhere (granted with a few learning curve offs), just not what I would choose. Its all relative and they are fine to learn on, its just the point to which you could just throw it to 45degrees or more without movement would vary abit.
Its good for you, helps you learn to feel for grip
