New clutch, no power.
« on: July 13, 2012, 06:04:00 PM »
I just changed my clutch on my Yamaha FZX 750 (not a super bike I know), now as I am riding, instead of getting power, the bike begins to rev until I change gear, then a little more power, and revving again.

I've checked the clutch over a few times, but I can't work out the problem.

Hope someone can help.
Thanks.

Yeah it feels like the clutch is slipping, and only soaked them for a few mins...

i've never soaked my plates and never had a problem.

just sounds like you've not got it adjusted right,or the clutch pack you've used is the wrong thickiness.

Never soaked mine and had no issue I'd say adjustment too (cable too tight)
