var addthis_config = {"data_track_clickback":true}; Ben Spies leaving Yamaha is it a suprise?

I think it's a surprise that he seems to have chosen to leave rather than getting pushed as from what I understood his job was safe due to his passport. I have heard he looks set for Superbikes on a BMW which is strange as they are not running a full factory effort next season. Ah well whatever happens it looks like silly season is just about to hot up again

Legzr1:
Jumped before being pushed?

Melandri's team mate next season?

Steve R1:
I think it was a matter of when rather than if. But who Will get his bike. Will yamaha get rossi ?

Now that is a question a case of watch this space.

I think Spies took a decision based upon two factors 1,jumping before being pushed 2, and I reckon he has a plan.

Timing of the announcement a bit weird - just before Laguna, any marketing Yamaha could of used will now be worthless - makes me wonder if he has a grudge?
