Been called into work 1415 start Sat ( :icon_boohoo:) but could 'fiddle' a little rideout as long as i'm back for 1530-1600 ish.

Will check in here tomorrow to see what you've arranged (if it's late afternoon 'finish' then get yourselves away and i'll make the next one  :thumbsup:)

well , got fookin soaked !
alston to hartside was either hammering down or wet roads with rivers running across .
the higher we got the darker the sky got ! ( it was a good job there was a sign for hartside cafe )

thanks to legz for a meeting place and free teas , and thanks to macca for leading most of the way .

Unfortunately i can't see a change in the weather this year Dave  ::) , but if you don't take the risk then you will never get out.
Thanks for a go on your R1  :thumbsup:,  but think it needs dry weather to get a better idea of how capable it is, track day suspension settings not ideal for pěss poor road surface and greasy/wet conditions  ;)

Do you boys ever think of coming up to the west coast of scotland,where the big boys play,surely do-able in a day if you set off early enough,would love to take you up the A82/A83 :thumbsup:

thats some brake set up on the speed tripple ( not much fun in that weather ) ,
but enjoyed the motor .

Was around  Biggar/Moffatt not that long ago Bill  :thumbsup:. Great roads but not quite as far up as A82 , still a 320mile round trip for me. To do a run on the A82  I think would need a stopover  :thumbsup:
