I want a blast on a a 10R and a Gixer 1000K6, not that bothered about the R1 although i wouldnt say no to a free go :)

the place i got the test rides from had in there an all black r1 which was sold to the local plod the shop owner said he`d been told it was for servailance work....... :o

Why not the R1 Dave ?

I did not rate it prior to actually owning it !!  ::)   I never even had a test ride on one before I bought it ( my usual trick  :rofl ).

So , I would honestly recommend that you try a test ride on one - they tip in well better than the GSXR1000 K5 !!  :D

And the brakes are well better than the K5 too !

Don't be blinkered Dave , give it a try !  :D

This is from someone who has always underated YAMAHA's , and knows HONDA's are the best for  build quality !  ;)

I've got nowt against Yam's but i prefer the other 3 more :) The Blade is just the dogs bollocks  but i love the sound of the kwack and zook. Also some of the reviews i've read about the zook&kwack they are supposed to be the closest to full race machines.  I would probably impulsivly buy an R1 if i had a go but i'd make sure i had a go of the Honda first :)

I do intend to test all teh new litre bikes at some point in the summer
