thought you'd all like to hear about them after 1000 miles...
Okay, so a short while ago i had squared off miss-matched tyres... so after getting abuse from Tastytarmac.. i went and got myself 2 new tyres..
Now my thundercat is a sports tourer, so mileage is an issue, but i wanted to Knee down with confidence so i decided i needed a stickier rubber to get the most from it.
The Avons at first seem ultra smooth and i was very confident with with them although i took it easy till i couldn't see any polished rubber..
They lose all this confidence the first time they get wet.. They felt a bit flighty and were destroying my confidence for a bit..
This was no issue after a few hundred miles, they seem to get better with age.. and wet riding is still a quick experience, and i don't shy away with the throttle like i used to
Once i'd done a couple hundred miles i started to go and practice Knee Down skills, and i found them amazing, they hold heat for ages and remain grippy all day long on any surface, they give great feedback and are very stable in 6th gear flat out.
The extreme edges are long lasting and cope well with abuse..
Now i'm not rossi, and i don't spend all day on my ear, but i do give it a fair bit of abuse, and having done so many miles i'm suprised that there is no sign of squaring at all..

and thats brilliant cus i have to ride to silverstone soon.. and abuse them on the track..

They allready have vitrually no strips at all apart from a tiny bit on the left like 2 mm
If i've missed anything please ask, as i ain't done a tyre reveiw before
front 33psi, rear 37.... very comfy settings, but 34 front is a bit to fast turning for me on the road
