I did a trackday at Silverstone yesterday and used a hire bike which had standard Diablos on and to be fair they felt really good in the wet and dry, except for the edge grip in the wet. I'm still loving the Diablo IIIs on my R1 though.

Mine were fitted at the end of April so I don't qualify for the cashback but the garage was doing £30 off Corsa IIIs so I got the pair including fitting for £198. Not a bad deal anyway.

I got caught in some rain today on the way home from work so was able to try the Diablo IIIs in the wet and they work really well. I never felt them lose grip.

After seeking advice from a few members on here, I think I will be getting a set of these fitted next monday.

Thanks to the Legz and Magpie for the advice  :down

they even do a 120/65 for the front which means i don't have to worry about dropping the forks 6mm to compensate.

Getting the pair for £149  :yikes after i've claimed back the £40...that includes fitting to loose wheels.

shame i'm too scared to take them off myself then :rofl so its £30 extra for the ride in ride out service  :D not too bad in my opinion..i keep my hands clean and the wheels won't fall off on the 1st corner  :-[

still not bad though £179 fitted

So........

not only do i have a bike that wasted on my skill level, i will have tyres to match

roll on France  :jump

a 120/70 on mine calmed the tank slapping down a bit so i left it where it was  :D

tyre warmers are a very tight fit now though  ::)
