shooey fancies doing another rideout perhaps in september for last of the sun

Hmmmmmm, not quite right!
In my opinion it is any of the following, or a combination of them all
A) laziness on behalf of the police to want to deal with it
C) Getting driver details back takes min 28 days
D) Don't forget police are not dealing with just 'your' incident and they don't work 24hours a day.
Fight for your rights and the service you deserve
to be fair you dont need the details between the police and the insurance they can sort it themselves, less grief for you...........
however i would be playing the "leaving the scene of an accident, failing to stop, failing to report an accident, failing to exchange details, etc." or whatever very heavily for what is an "injury" accident that should be reported!!
which is an offence in its self, they pass it onto another police dept, and thats where their involvment stopssorry to hear thatI wonder if the driver isn't insured and the police know that if you have the address you would quite naturally go round and see him for a polite chat about careful and considerate driving
and that he might be pursuded to compensate you and angel for damage and inconvenience
