I must admit I like seeing the think bike stickers in cars, I always acknowledge the driver, by raising my hand when I'm on my bike as I presume that they are either a biker, a relative of a biker or a bike friendly driver.

I also have a think bike sticker in my car, and like it on the odd occasion when a fellow biker acknowledges me.

Do you acknowledge drivers with think bike stickers, or have I gone mad and lost the plot.

I have noticed that the majority of cars I come across that have anything bike related in the rear window are more alert to bikes behind them and react sooner.
I don`t have a think bike sticker so I have to put up with seeing the sbf website sticker everytime I look in the mirror  LOL
Where do you get these think bike stickers from wistle

be quick as the Dft have made massive cuts in road safety so it's possiblw that when they're they're gone.

many road safety Partnerships will send them to you. if you join 'Glos Thinkbike' on facebook and ask you can get em there too thumbsup

Does anybody worry that if you have a superbike sticker in your car potential thieves know there is probably a fast bike in the garage? wave

Not really, lots of ex bikers and family show these stickers too, taken the NoLimits one off the bumper though.
Albeit IMO some of the van's I've seen at TD's and privateer racing, plastered in "sponsors" stickers are shouting out. Come home and rob me  Undecided

Anything to promote respect for riders is good isn't it.
I don't have one in my window but that's really because its quite big and my rear window is small.
I know my mate has one in her car, I'll ask if she gets a nod from bikers.

Also, I've been impressed by the motorway signs often displaying think bike on their signs if there is no incident to display.

thats something KillSpills asked the PM to do a few years back, at the time the DfT said the usual, we have to go through procedures, but it appeared in the end. I would like to think we had a part to play in that, as we did make the suggestion, but who knows.

I can get some stickers from Lancs road safety partnership for those that want them, just PM me with your address
